Insurance is all about claims, the timely financial recovery from a loss or injury. While it seems obvious, if someone is hurt or there is an ongoing emergency, call 911 and get the appropriate medics, firefighters, or police. Submitting an insurance claim will wait until the soonest practical time.

We provide a very wide variety of insurance products so providing specific instructions how to submit every type of claim is impossible here. We have gathered some general steps and information for your reference. Nothing shown here will supercede or replace the terms of your policy, but when in doubt call us for advice.

Our claims efforts are structured around helping you identify your appropriate coverage, guiding the assembly of the necessary information, forwarding that information to the insurance company, acting as your liaison with the insurance adjuster, and where needed, to act as your advocate through a potentially confusing process. We are not empowered to pay or settle your claim.

Each of the three divisions, Commercial, Personal, and Benefits, have distinctly different types of claims and significantly different steps to initiate a claim. One common thread across all three is that the loss should be reported at the earliest practical opportunity. If you do not have all of the details, go ahead and report what you have. Partial information today is better than full information next month.
